Re: Is there a way to edit text that was recognized incorrectly?
Yes.
Your expression might look something like (keep in mind, you can't use infinite quantifiers with Fuzzy on):
From there (assuming you're in 2021) the Fuzzy Matching property would be Enabled. Then in your Weightings property you could use the following:
This would make deleting a space inexpensive so you could keep your Minimum Similarity high.

Re: Uppercase after initial extraction
There are multiple paths t output things in upper case at the extractor level. Depending on which version of Grooper you're using, the path will be different. Can't remember if you're in 2.8 or 2.9 right now. But in general, look at the result options. Some version of Grooper also have an output character casing that can be specified at the data element level.
Re: Extractor based on a lexicon? Is it possible?
If your Data Model already has a Data Section that identifies the notes portion of the document, then it sounds like you need to create a Data Table within that section. The table should have one column in it. The table can just run row extraction and point to a Data Type that runs a fuzzy list using your lexicon. Then for the one column, give it a pattern-based value extractor, which is .*
Re: Invalid index for a boolean value
Apparently, booleans in Application Xtender aren't actual booleans that hold True/False, 1/0, Yes/No values but are like a mixture of boolean and text. We are looking at changing to a list field with Yes/No choices

Re: Where can I learn more about Multi-Column collation?
In its current implementation, "Multi-Column" is really only designed to work with Two-Column Layouts, plus things that are horizontally centered across the entire page like Page Titles. You can achieve the same thing through a combination of arrays. Essentially finding segments of text, arraying them together vertically, then arraying those results horizontally, then combining all of those result so they go from first page to last. You would then use that data type for a single instance section that will have "re-flowed" the text. BTW, arraying is not a word, even though I typed it multiple times. You should probably not listen to anything I have to say.
Re: Reporting on Task With extracted Value
It sounds like, ultimately, you're looking to automate the text recognition process further.
i.e. - You want a report of problematic vendors such that you can perhaps leverage that information in a programmatic way to create Batch Process logic that could handle exceptions for you.
As it is, that is not out-of-the-box functionality.

Re: What is the best way to publish a batch to a non-local machine?
Well, connecting to a remote repository (or any repository) is really doing two things: connecting to the SQL server that houses the repository DB, and connecting to the filestore associated with that repository.
As for SQL, that depends on your configuration, but MS has a list of the ports at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/sql-server/install/configure-the-windows-firewall-to-allow-sql-server-access?view=sql-server-ver15#:~:text=Ports Used By the Database, named instance uses dynamic ports .
And for the file store: i'd imagine you'd have to mount it as an SMB share (Grooper's only requirement is that it be accessible through the windows filesystem); the ports that uses are available at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/298804/internet-firewalls-can-prevent-browsing-and-file-sharing .
