PDF Text Extract and OCR ... How?

 How can I set up a batch process to do PDF Text Extract for digital PDFs and Full Text OCR on everything else?

This is easily accomplished with a single activity. When using PDF Text Extract, there is also an option to OCR image-based pages when found. With that option enabled, you can specify the OCR profile to run for that content. Pages that are purely electronic text will be collected solely through PDF Text Extraction. Pages that are purely image-based will be processed with OCR. For pages that have electronic text and also some areas where images are embedded, it will perfectly collect the electronic text, OCR each image-based region, then blend the results together as one final result.
