Setting up a batch process for rendering documents

Trying to build a batch process and the documents are Word and Excel. I can't find any documentation that explains setting this process up. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Yes.  The documents have to first exist in a batch.  You'll probably want to put your Link Action activity first, though.

What process are you referring to?
What is it, specifically, you're having trouble with?
Are you unable to view the documents in Grooper, or are you unable to bring the documents into Grooper at all?
Screen shots are helpful, if you can provide any.

I have the documents in my CMIS repository. How do I get them rendered to pdf from here?

The documents must first be brought into a batch, and then you'll need to use the Grooper Render Printer.  For documents that are not native file types, Grooper must first convert them to a usable format.  You can bring in foreign file types just like you bring in standard document images.

You can find the Grooper Render Printer documentation and installer here.

It's important to know that in order for Grooper to successfully convert foreign file types, the software that natively opens those document types will need to be installed on the machine where Render Printer is installed.  For example, to convert .docx files, Microsoft Word will need to be installed.

Once you install the Render Printer, you can add a Render Document activity to your process.

I think i have it figured out. I wasn't starting a new batch with the 'New From CMIS Import' tab. Is this the only way to render documents from a CMIS repository?
