Can you calculate a value in a datamodel field based on two (or more) other values for purposes of output, rather than validation? I tried doing so with the default expression, but Grooper didn't like the syntax. Can you apply if then logic in the calculation as well?

[Deleted User] Posts: 0 adminInstead of using Default Value Expression, use Calculate Expression. It's designed to do pretty much exactly what you're wanting, and provides some useful examples for its syntax.5

ptomko Posts: 68 ✭✭Answering my own post. I worked with Dave and this can be done by setting the Calculate Expression to the expression you want and setting the Calculate Mode to AlwaysSet. There is also logical operations "IFF" in the Calculate Expression.
