Maximum Results in Pattern Editor?

In the Pattern Editor with a batch document selected for preview, the displayed results seem to stop showing after ~1000 results. Is there some limit here? Can it be changed?

This functionality was introduced at some point in the Grooper 2.6 life cycle. Previously, we had no limit and found circumstances where this would cause Grooper to hang up for hundreds of seconds while attempting to draw rectangles for all the identified matches. A simple scenario would be typing only a period into a pattern. This would find a unique match for every character. Even though you were perhaps planning to type a more specific pattern that simply begins with a period, the pattern editor displays matches after each typed character, and thus would hang up before you could finish typing.

This new result limit is hard coded into Grooper and is not, at this time, something you can configure. However, I should note that in the bottom panel of the tester, all results will appear. The limit is only designed to only show image highlights for a fixed number of results.
