setting up file system import

trying to set up file system import for a few demos, imports are coming in fine, but I can't seem to figure out how to get it to delete the original files after import so that it doesn't continue to create new batches form the same files. I was told this was done through the dispostion settings. Played around with those and no luck. Can anyone point me in the right direct here? Thanks.

On the File System Import Settings make sure that you have Sparse Import set to False, then you will have the option to set the File Disposition to Delete. This will Delete each Item after importing
